JuicyFruit Thanksgiving Week in San Francisco (112709)

Here we go, it's Thanksgiving weekend, and if you are traveling there are plenty of things to do all around the country. For the warm weather lovers and the East Coast, Miami plays host to the White Party, and one of these year's before I get too old to look good in white, I need to get down there to check this party out. If you are staying on the West Coast, but not in San Francisco, Palm Springs will host the Lazy Bear Holiday and a chance for flirt with the bears in the warmth of Palm Springs… Continue

JuicyFruit The Juice Box - Heading Towards the November Holidays (112009)

It's the final weekend before the official holiday season kicks off with Thanksgiving. This is a fun weekend in San Francisco and a good chance to see many friends before the dash off to family gatherings or to catch up with others as they come into town for the same reasons. Either way, check out some great events starting Thursday night with the Royksopp concert at the Regency, as they come back to San Francisco for their first concert in a few years; this should be a great night. Friday has t… Continue

JuicyFruit Review of PLAY T-DANCE

Past Curfew Productions PLAY T-Dance - CAMP PLAY 5 Out of 5 Bottles of Water by Leif Wauters It's hard work throwing a dance party, especially a good one. But once you have that hit, how do you repeat that success and build upon the experience so it doesn't turn into just another night at the club? How does that magic happen each time the doors open? It's the attention that's paid to the details, it's the experiences gathered from other parties near and far, it's the focus paid on making our ci… Continue

TobyGo.com CALIFORNIA DREAMING at the Whitcomb Hotel 11/8/09

We were fortunate enough to be invited at this Event by Patrik Gallineaux. I was really impressed on how many people had showed up at this event. I was not really aware on how big this competition was. Everyone did a tremendous job at this event. Great lighting, big dance floor, and the whole show was a smooth flow. Ms. Paju Munroe (who took second at the "Dancing with the Drag Stars) opened the evening with her flawless performance and Ms. Garza (who took first at the "Dancing with the Drag St… Continue

JuicyFruit Partying on the High Seas - The Atlantis Mexico Cruise 2009 in Review

It is a bit of a challenge to encapsulate the week long party called the Atlantis Mexico Cruise from just one perspective. Cruises are about so much; meeting new friends, connecting with old friends, dancing the nights away under the stars, and enjoying a great deal of social time with so many people you just meet along the way. In fact, while the dance parties are what is often most talked about on the cruise, and what is often most captured in the marketing materials, there is a wonderful pace… Continue

JuicyFruit Halloween San Francisco Style (103009)

It's Halloween time in San Francisco - I know, I know, like we need a reason to put on costumes and go out. Alas, it is the fun holiday, for those of you that get into a little goblins, witch or ghoul. Personally, I am not big on getting dressed up for Halloween, but I do love seeing what everyone else comes up with. So start the weekend right with Deadmau5 (Dead Mouse) at Regency Center, and then continue the party on Friday through the weekend with a couple great Halloween options (and let me… Continue

Tom What a weekend

Well it is Monday and somehow I am in the office functioning. Where to start. Let's jump back a week, shall we? Last weekend we landed at Industry at Mighty. I must admit, it was my first time in a a couple months (that boyfriend is still in the picture-thankfully!) and it was a welcome return. I always enjoy this event and it was great to see our fantastic Tobygo masters Rico and Pat there (hi guys!) I heard the most kickass remix of Madge's "Celebration" (granted, not Holiday but it is catchy)… Continue

This year the guys a RTP returned to the hallowed dance space, a bit more spruced up and cleaned up than it has ever been. Sporting a more commanding view of the crowd, the DJ boot… Continue

Tom Folsom/LovElution recap

OK, OK, So I am back after a brief hiatus. By hiatus I mean my new boyfriend Monte who is pretty fucking great :-) What can I say? You meet a guy and you just don't seem to be out as much as you once were. That being said, he loves to dance as much as I do (which is of course a prerequisite to be my boyfriend). But I am back! So Folsom. As always the weather was great. Was it me or were there more people here than last? It was great. Lots of eye candy to be scene (though none as sexy as my boo… Continue

TobyGo.com Castro Street Fair 2009 (October 4, 200)

It's always a blast going to the castro street fair every year. You get to meet all your friends that you have not seen for many months or years. This year, we had the "ON the Street with TobyGo" crew, along with Jason Hannan. We had a blast interviewing new faces, promoters, performers and business owners. We caught up to see Suzan Revah, Cookie Dough, Pollo Del Mar, Patrik Gallineaux and the others who performed at the main stage. After we were done with all of our interviews, we danced on th… Continue

TobyGo.com Industry at Club Mighty (September 27, 2009)

This place was packed, packed, and packed. Amazing set by D.J. Jamie J. Sanchez and D.J. Paulo. Great tribal and dark beats. They kept the boys dancing all night. TobyGo.com After Shock (September 27, 2009)

Right after Industry we head down to "AFTERSHOCK", the boys were already lined up and were ready for more dancing. DJ Abel was playing at this event, and everyone loves ABEL. The music was pumping harder for 4 am. The crowd seemed to have so much energy. The place kept getting busier and busier as the sun comes out. We left around 7 am and the place was still full and more boys were still coming in from their nap, or other parties. This event is always a must go at Folsom weekend. Jito throws o… Continue

TobyGo.com Magnum at DNA Lounge (September 25, 2009)

This was my first time going to Magnum, I heard good stuff about it from last year's event. We got there about 1130 pm, and the music was already pumping thrown by DJ Boyshapedbox and very special guest DJ: FRANCISCO GUERRA. The boys were HOT, full of energy and the place was packed. I enjoyed coming to this event. I love the DNA Lounge, the place is big enough for a big event, but the only complain i have was that the sound system is not quite to my standard, Thanks to Matt Bearracuda for put… Continue

TobyGo.com Anna Conda's 42nd B-day at the Cinch Bar

I already know that Anna Conda is as popular as any drag out there and maybe more. ;-). I wanted to stop by and wish Anna a happy B-day from TobyGo. By the time she came out of the dressing room, the crowd was already positioned and ready for her show. Also by the time she came out of the dressing room, she was already half tipsy. I love you Anna, but i'm just telling the truth. lol The show was funny and entertaining. This show is always mix with straights and gays. There were atleast five ac… Continue
